Jim is a Vice President and Mortgage Partner at Tradition Mortgage and began his career in Mortgage Banking in 1996. Jim grew up in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Business Management.

By consistently exceeding expectations, the Krantz Team has earned a stellar reputation and proudly manages strategic relationships within some of Minnesota’s largest Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire Departments, Public School Districts, and Privately owned businesses. Jim believes that honesty and integrity are the cornerstones of any successful relationship and our customers and business partners have come to appreciate this approach.

When not at the office, you can find Jim with his wife and son or with extended family and friends. Jim is passionate about his faith, youth sports, hunting, and fishing. As a Minnesota native, Jim truly enjoys all four seasons and appreciates the diversity that the great state of Minnesota offers.
